Nadia was my Father’s caretaker from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Mondays through Fridays at his nursing home. Nadia did not just perform her duties in a rote manner. She was genuinely caring in her treatment of Dad. She spoke to him and encouraged him in a loving gentle manner. The nursing home staff also admired and relied upon her. On many occasions they told me how fortunate we were to have Nadia caring for Dad. In sum, Nadia is a gentle, loving, engaging, humble, intelligent, spiritual, caring and extremely capable person.
As our parents or grandparents age, we might find that a change in their living situation is necessary. The most likely scenario is if mom falls and breaks her hip. This unfortunately is very common.
