Our mission is to help individuals remain active, healthy and independent. Our hallmark is in screening and referring to clients the highest caliber caregivers in the marketplace. A significant amount of time is spent to ensure that the caregivers we refer to families, who are independent providers, are experienced, professional and compassionate. NurtureCare, located in Fairfax, Virginia, is a family owned and operated business. We have been serving families in Northern Virginia since 1998. Our office staff is available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We maintain a registry of a large pool of independent providers who have been thoroughly screened and vetted to meet the needs of families. We refer caregivers who offer both hourly care and live-in (daily) care. Caregivers can offer help with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring) in addition to meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, medication reminders, shopping, errands, transporting to appointments and companionship. The services can be received in private homes, independent and assisted living communities, nursing homes and hospitals. We believe in Consumer Directed Care – you determine the days and hours of service, the tasks to be performed, and the caregiver who will deliver the care.
